YELLOWSTONE WEEKEND!

A spur of the moment idea led us to take off to Yellowstone on Friday. We had a great time.

Watson at Lewis Falls. Hey Watson I dare you to jump into the water?

Jackson and Watson playing along the Madison River near West Yellowstone, MT. A short distance away we saw a nice elk heard along the river as well as a bald eagle.

Jackson liked reading all of the information he could throughout the park.

Lower Geyser Basin. A great backdrop for a picture in Yellowstone.

We had a great time at old faithful. There were more buffalo than people. You can the buffalo standing in the background.

Old faithful right on time.

We went to the very North End of Yellowstone in Bridger, MT to see the stone arch entrance. This was built a few years after congress acted to make Yellowstone a National Park in 1872.

The kids loved the Buffalo. Jackson don't get to close!

What a beautiful day. The tempreture was about 40 degrees. The power of the falls roaring in the background is such a neat feeling. Everytime I am up here I am amazed.

No trip is complete without seeing the world's largest elk arch in Afton, WY!

You see anything?

We rolled through Grand Teton. Watson, nice job on taking the picture.

The Elk Refuge in Jackson always a great stop.

The elk had just started to poor into the refuge. By the end of the month there will be 5 times the elk.

We had to stop and see Kayla and Rick's old house. Still there.
